In this important role, the Senior Aquatic Biologist will manage various fisheries programs and lead analysis related to fish habitats and water quality. Based in an office in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba, you will serve as the primary resource for clients, coordinating staff and ensuring project deliverables are met. Collaborate with talented biologists to advance sustainability efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead management of fish habitat studies and sampling
• Provide senior review for comprehensive reports
• Develop field programs to meet project goals
• Maintain relationships with clients and regulatory bodies
• Mentor junior staff in technical skills
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Fisheries required
• At least 10 years of consulting experience in fisheries
• Registered Professional status is needed
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with environmental project planning and monitoring
