Job Description

The Auto Body Technician performs structural and non‑structural repairs, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles. The role supports team efforts to achieve repair facility KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
• Repair damage to vehicle body panels
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles
• Replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and accessories
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts
• Assess and repair structural components
• Use frame equipment
• Apply new knowledge and skills to maintain high quality and productivity, contributing to KPI’s (Sales/CP/EBITA/BHPD/NPS)
• Take responsibility for outcomes and seek continuous learning opportunities

Minimum Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Post‑Secondary Auto Body Repair Program

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG)

Preferred Education & Experience

• Red Seal or 310B preferred
• I‑Car Registered (working toward Gold Class certification)

Other Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have own toolbox
• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation

$30 - $35 per hour flat rate + production bonus + signing bonus. Compensation is commensurate with skill, education, and experience.
