The Auto Body Technician is responsible for structural and non-structural repairs, and will disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle. The Auto Body Technician works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
- Repair damage to vehicle body panels
- Vehicle disassembly and reassembly
- Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories
- Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle
- Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle
- Use of frame equipment
- Apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity, which directly contributes to KPI’s (Sales/ CP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS).
- Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program
- Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)
Education and Experience
- Red Seal or 310B is preferred
- I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)
- You are able to lift up to 50 Lbs
- You have your own toolbox
- Valid driver’s license required
- $30 - $35 per hour flat rate
- Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
