Location: Stony MountainJob Description The Junior Foreman supports the Foreman.By leading the dock crew to safely unload and load linehaul and city equipment. In order meet service targets.Leads on safety and compliance to help create safe work culture and compliance to processes.On Forklift as well some manual work is required.Quality Task Audits daily and reporting on any gaps.Reports daily on any equipment issues forklifts and Hand Jacks.Reports daily on any near missLeadership, able to mentor and lead.Must be able to cover Foreman shifts at time with little notice as well as vacation days etc.Qualifications
Knowledge of city of Winnipeg and surrounding rural towns-ability to plan a delivery run.Leadership skills can clearly set expectations and assign tasks with company safety targets and service targets in mind.Flexibility with little notice to work a variety of shifts. this shift start late evening and early mornings and weekends.Willing to learn to run the am dock,Ability to train new hiresForkliftAdditional Information
