Are you a Journeyman Plumber looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Here at Broadstreet Properties, we are currently looking for a Plumber to be responsible for the maintenance and repairs associated with plumbing of our multi-family residential apartment buildings! This position would be located in Winnipeg, Manitoba
Your contribution to the team includes:
Tend to service callsTend to the maintenance and preventative maintenance programs, including maintaining and cleaning of all plumbing equipmentTest repaired equipment for proper performanceMaintain a supply of regularly used parts and filters in stock, ordering replenishment as necessary.Propose changes or modifications to plans to enhance operation and efficiency of systems plans and specifications for sanitation facilities.Develop goals and priorities; assign tasks and projectsEnsure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projectsKeep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentationMaintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniquesTrain site staff on mechanical systemsAbility to travel between multiple sitesWhat you need to be successful:
Red Seal Plumber certificationExperience as a Journeyman/Journeyperson PlumberExperience servicing boilers, hot water tanks and make up air unitsPossess a valid driver's license and clean drivers abstractEffective communication both verbally and in writingAble to work well independently under pressure in a busy environmentExperience with routine maintenance operationsAble to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all timesProficient computer skillsAble to travel across Winnipeg, Brandon, Portage la PrarieThe perks:
