Refrigeration Technician

What You’ll Do:

Install, inspect, and test refrigeration systems and components according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines.

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in residential refrigeration systems with precision and expertise.

Perform regular maintenance and preventive service to ensure optimal system performance.

Repair or replace defective components
, including compressors, motors, thermostats, valves, and control systems.

Use gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools to test and verify system performance accurately.

Maintain detailed records of work performed
, parts used, and system conditions.

Comply with safety and environmental regulations
, including proper handling and disposal of refrigerants.

Communicate effectively with customers
, providing clear updates on work status and system conditions.

Collaborate with technicians and staff to resolve complex mechanical challenges.

Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.

Strong mechanical knowledge with troubleshooting abilities across various systems.

Proficiency reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.

Familiarity with appliance repair

Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
