Your responsibilities will include aiding crane operators in the assembly and disassembly of cranes and helping to rig equipment properly. You will also support mechanics with maintenance tasks in the shop and yard and ensure the safe delivery of equipment to various job sites. This position is integral to maintaining operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help assemble and disassemble cranes as needed
• Rig equipment following safety procedures
• Assist with crane maintenance and general shop duties
• Deliver equipment and rigging to necessary locations
• Collaborate effectively within a team framework
Requirements:
• Completion of 3rd year apprentice or Journeyperson certificate
• Holding a Class 1A driver’s license is essential
• Must follow safety work practices diligently
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Maintain union membership requirements
Ensure operational safety and efficiency in crane support while following established safety guidelines and fostering teamwork.
