Journeyman Carpenter

Position: Journeyman Carpenter at Ansept Construction
Elevate your carpentry expertise with Ansept Construction as a Journeyman Carpenter. Lead site activities, mentor tradespeople, and ensure quality standards on diverse projects across Western Canada.

This role is essential for experienced carpenters looking to make an impact. As the senior trade professional, you'll oversee both residential and commercial construction sites while mentoring foremen, apprentices, and labourers. You will drive quality, safety, and efficiency throughout all carpentry scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical authority for carpentry tasks

• Execute complex installations to high standards

• Mentor and develop crew members in their skills

• Review drawings to identify potential project issues

• Collaborate with the Site Superintendent on project progress

Requirements:

• Journeyman Carpenter certification (Red Seal preferred)

• Minimum 5 years carpentry experience in various scopes

• At least 2 years supervising other tradespeople

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required

• Physical ability for demanding construction tasks
