Position: Lead Hand for High-Rise Installations

OZZ Electric BC is seeking skilled Lead Hands on Vancouver Island for high-rise electrical installations. You will be instrumental in guiding apprentices and enforcing Canadian Electrical Code standards. Your responsibility will include developing safety documentation and maintaining a secure work environment, fostering a culture of safety aligned with company values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems following blueprints and safety standards

• Monitor equipment functionality to ensure safety

• Train and guide apprentices for quality outcomes

• Develop and manage essential safety documentation

• Address safety concerns through toolbox discussions and assessments

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Electrician ticket (Red Seal) is required

• Experience in high-rise and commercial projects

• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code

• Excellent communication and computer skills

• Field Safety Representative ticket is a plus
