Mechanic​/Millwright​/Machinist in Manitoba

Winpak invites experienced individuals to apply for the Mechanic/Millwright/Machinist position in Winnipeg. Your expertise will play a vital role in machinery maintenance and repair.
In this position, you will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and ensure that facility equipment operates efficiently and safely. The role involves interpreting blueprints and technical documentation, as well as collaborating with engineers and other maintenance staff. With 2+ years of experience in a maintenance setting, you will support both regular and emergency maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and modify equipment and parts

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Collaborate with technicians and engineers for maintenance tasks

• Oversee spare parts inventory management

• Operate machine shop equipment like lathes and milling machines
Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Required Red Seal Certification in Millwright/Industrial Mechanics

• At least 2 years of relevant experience

• Knowledgeable in pneumatic and hydraulic systems

• Familiar with workplace safety protocols
