This position reports to the Supervisor of Earthworks and Pit. You will operate heavy mining equipment, focusing on large-scale material handling, compliance with safety protocols, and environmental measures. Your experience in earthworks and quarrying will directly impact the revitalization of the Eskay Creek gold-silver mine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dozers, excavators, graders, and loaders safely

• Handle material for topsoil, ore, and waste management

• Prepare work areas for drilling and blasting operations

• Maintain haul roads and access paths to standards

• Support installation of environmental controls and infrastructure

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years operating heavy mining equipment

• Proficiency in large-scale material handling

• Ability to read blueprints and execute plans accurately

• Strong safety compliance and hazard reporting

• Capacity to work in rugged outdoor conditions
