Elevate your welding career in a vibrant urban setting as an experienced welder. This position focuses on operating advanced welding equipment and ensuring production standards.
We are looking for candidates with 1-2 years of welding experience and a relevant college certificate. Your primary tasks will include interpreting blueprints, examining welds, and operating manual and automated equipment. A physical aptitude and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and manuals
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding tools
• Inspect welds for compliance with standards
• Operate metal cutting and bending machines
• Identify the weldability of various metals
Requirements:
• Certificate or diploma in welding with up to 2 years experience
• Familiarity with multiple welding techniques
• Ability to work in a noisy, dusty environment
• Strong organizational skills and punctuality
• Capability to handle heavy lifting up to 30 lbs
