Position: Telecommunications Equipment Operator Role
Valard Construction seeks a Telecommunications Equipment Operator with backhoe expertise in Manitoba. Engage in new construction initiatives and ensure safe equipment operation.

As an Equipment Operator, you will focus on operating heavy machinery for telecommunication projects. Key tasks involve working closely with geotechnical teams for soil testing and overseeing the installation of structures and cables. Daily safety compliance and inspections play a crucial role in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate equipment for construction tasks

• Work with engineers on soil mechanics

• Install telecom pedestals and cables

• Complete daily equipment inspections

• Assist ground crew and maintain a clean site

Requirements:

• 3 years' experience in backhoe operation

• Certified in Ground Disturbance Level 2

• Current Class-5 driver’s license with clear record

• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and outdoor work

• Flexible schedule for various work hours
