Fed Ex is seeking an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Technician to maintain our fleet. This position emphasizes quality maintenance, troubleshooting, and detailed documentation practices.
In this vital role, you will ensure our gasoline, diesel, and hydraulic-powered vehicles are in peak condition using advanced diagnostic tools. The ability to lift heavy vehicle components safely is crucial, along with the responsibility of documenting all service activities and clearly communicating repair needs as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic equipment
• Keep thorough documentation of service activities
• Lift vehicle components weighing up to 70 lbs
• Prioritize safety in all maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Certification as an Automotive Service Technician or Truck and Coach Technician
• Over three years of relevant experience
• Skilled in using diagnostic testing tools
• Valid G-class driver’s license with a solid driving record
