Position: Skilled Welder for Custom Fabrications
Join Johnson Controls as a Skilled Journeyman Welder, focusing on custom fabrications. Your proficiency with MIG, ARC, and TIG welding will ensure the highest quality in production.

This role is ideal for proactive Journeyman Welders who can interpret technical drawings and operate various welding machines effectively. Working alongside Supervisors, you will uphold production standards while mentoring junior team members to enhance their welding skills. Your contribution will be essential in delivering precise fabrications and modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and review welding blueprints and specifications

• Operate advanced welding equipment for effective metal fusion

• Carry out inspections, repairs, and modifications as needed

• Record parts usage and accuracy of completed tasks

• Assist in training and overseeing junior employees

Requirements:

• Journeyman Welder license in Alberta

• GMAW and SMAW certifications required

• Willingness to work flexible 24/7 shifts

• Strong communication skills for efficient team interaction

• Attention to detail in all welding activities
