Cement Plant Millwright Position

Amrize is looking for a skilled Millwright for our Cement Plant in Exshaw, AB. This 12-month contract emphasizes essential maintenance and safety, contributing to a high-performing team.

As a Millwright at Amrize, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on various equipment. Your experience with safety protocols and machinery will ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety among team members.

This role offers the chance to use your skills in operating cranes and manlifts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and equipment tests to resolve issues

• Operate mobile equipment and overhead cranes safely

• Document maintenance activities and improve safety measures

• Promote safety culture throughout daily operations

• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Millwright Journeyman Red Seal certification

• Proficient with industrial machinery maintenance

• Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE requirements

• Capable of working in confined spaces and at heights
