As a Truck Mechanic, you will have 2-3 years of experience and a valid Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification. Your responsibilities will include adjusting, repairing, or replacing key components in both truck and trailer systems, ensuring all vehicles remain in top condition. You will collaborate with supervisors to determine the best course of action for each unit you handle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair truck and trailer systems
• Carry out scheduled maintenance thoroughly
• Consult with supervisors on repair decisions
• Record and report maintenance activities
• Work within a quick-paced environment
Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation is required
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Certification as a Truck and Transport Mechanic
• Own necessary tools and equipment
• Appropriate safety footwear required
