Elevate your drilling expertise with Ledcor as a Surface Mining Driller in Vancouver, BC.
This role offers opportunities to operate advanced drilling equipment on various mining projects.
In this position, you will be responsible for operating CAT MD6200 and Epiroc SmartROC drill rigs, drilling blast holes according to strategic project plans. You will also support QA/QC documentation while ensuring adherence to safety protocols in diverse and remote locations. The role requires a commitment to safety and the ability to work under different weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate CAT MD6200 and Epiroc SmartROC drill rigs effectively
• Drill blast holes per project specifications
• Aid in QA/QC documentation processes
• Work in remote and often challenging weather conditions
• Follow established safety protocols consistently
Requirements:
• Background in civil or surface mining operations
• Eagerness to learn drill and blast techniques
• Clear driver's license with valid abstract
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely
• Pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing
