Position: Skilled Journeyman Electrician Wanted
Join GDI Ainsworth as a Journeyman Electrician and tackle diverse electrical projects in Winnipeg. Focus on installations, repairs, and system analysis in a supportive team environment.

We are looking for a capable Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5 years in commercial settings. You’ll manage daily service calls involving control wiring, fire alarms, and EV charging systems with minimal supervision. Bring your expertise and attention to detail to a team committed to innovation and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair various electrical equipment

• Interpret electrical codes for installation layouts

• Bend and install conduits for diverse applications

• Analyze and troubleshoot HVAC and BAS systems

• Maintain accurate logs and documentation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician

• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and terminology

• Previous experience with Fire Alarms is a plus

• Proficient in reading electrical schematics

• Clean driver’s abstract and Class 5 license
