Full Time Install Assistant

FLOFORM Countertops is a Canadian company with its head office in Winnipeg, MB, and has 17 showrooms and 8 fabrication facilities across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. FLOFORM manufactures, sells & installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops annually.

The Install Assistant will assist in the installation of counter top orders.

• No experience necessary; we will train the right person
• Counter top installation or construction experience is a plus
• Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality
• Effective communication skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Positive attitude and solid work ethic
• Valid driver’s license
• Required to pass a criminal record check
• Ability to carry 100–200 lbs (assisted)
• Regular bending, twisting, and kneeling
• Local travel with occasional out-of-town travel
• Availability to work overtime as required

• Assists installer with complete installation of countertops while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Assists cleanly remove existing counter top and plumbing if required
• Responds to customer inquiries and/or concerns on the job site
• Troubleshoot technical problems related to the installation as they arise
• Works as closely to the schedule as possible and contacts customer if running behind
• Maintains company vehicle interior and exterior to the company’s standards
• Runs errands as they arise while at the job site (e.g., picking up missing pieces or tools from shop)
• Cross training on Jr. Installer tasks as training evolves and as needed
• Other duties as assigned
