Vacuum Truck Assistant Operator Position

Support the Vacuum Truck Services Division as an Assistant Operator, contributing to various onsite tasks like hydro excavating and spill cleanup. Ensure safety and teamwork while operating key equipment.

In this hands-on role, you will assist the Operator in safely managing various units during operations. Your responsibilities will include directing hoses for effective pumping, installing temporary equipment, and performing maintenance tasks. A focus on safety and professionalism is critical as you work on cleaning sites and assisting with general labor duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the safe operation of vacuum truck equipment

• Set up and control hoses for effective water pumping

• Install temporary equipment including piping and chemical houses

• Prepare job sites with proper rigging and positioning

• Clean and store all equipment thoroughly

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Experience in industrial environments and confined spaces

• Swamping experience, especially in Vacuum and Hydrovac work

• Familiarity with High Pressure Water Blasting Equipment

• Knowledge of handling chemicals is a plus
