Join MWM Environmental as a Heavy Duty Mechanic based in Morden, Manitoba, and play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles. Focus on efficiency and safety while servicing waste disposal trucks and equipment.

This full-time position is ideal for a certified Journeyman or Red Seal Mechanic. You will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles. The role emphasizes a well-organized shop environment to maximize service capabilities while adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair company vehicles and equipment

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostics

• Complete work orders accurately for inventory tracking

• Provide insights to enhance workshop efficiency

• Follow scheduled maintenance programs diligently

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic preferred

• 2 years of mechanical experience required

• Class 5 driver’s license mandatory

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems is an asset
