Equipment Maintenance & Shop Hand

ACG Construction handles residential and light commercial projects in the Winnipeg area. We run a mix of 2 & 4 stroke equipment, diesel machines, fleet vehicles, and various tools. We need someone reliable to keep everything running, the yard clean, and materials moving.

As Equipment Maintenance & Shop Hand, you will maintain & repair our fleet and tools, keep the shop and yard organized, handle deliveries, and support basic site needs.

• Perform routine maintenance on 2 & 4 stroke engines, diesel equipment, fleet vehicles, and other machinery.
• Keep the shop, yard, and equipment clean and organized.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Pick up and deliver materials and equipment as needed.
• Open the sites in the morning, clear snow, cut grass, and handle general yard maintenance.
• Assist contractors on sites with cleanup and basic tasks when required.
• Track basic maintenance logs and report issues promptly.
• Follow safety practices around equipment and vehicles.
• Create and follow work orders.

• Experience with small engines, diesel, and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Comfortable operating forklifts and heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work outdoors in Manitoba weather.
• Reliable, self‑starter who can work with minimal supervision.
• Full‑time position with some early starts and occasional evenings or weekends.

• Hourly wage $21 – $30 per hour, depending on experience and mechanical skills.
• Overtime opportunities during busy seasons.
• Tools supplied. Room to grow into more senior maintenance or operator roles.
