Truck Transport Mechanic - $40-$48 per hour Winnipeg
We are seeking an experienced Truck & Transport mechanic, either an apprentice or ticketed Heavy Duty Mechanic with 3+ years of experience in a service shop environment, to join our permanent team.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, daytime
Wage: $40-$48 per hour

- Participate in tool box talks to start the day
- Review open work orders
- Perform vehicle inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Diagnose and repair transmissions, differentials, clutches, and driveline components
- Use specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex problems
- Carry out routine preventative and out-of-warranty corrective maintenance
- Complete safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed
- Utilize strong communication skills to explain vehicle issues to other mechanics and customers
- Truck and Transport ticket is a strong asset
- Own toolbox
- Strong safety practices
- Class 1 driver license is a strong asset
- Ability to lift 60 lbs safely
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
