Position: Join Major Drilling as a Mechanic Helper
We are looking for a self-motivated Shop Hand in Winnipeg to join Major Drilling's maintenance team. Benefit from paid training and a supportive work environment focused on safety.

As a mechanic helper, you will work 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, primarily assisting mechanics and ensuring the shop remains clean and organized. Following detailed instructions is crucial, as is your ability to function with little supervision during maintenance tasks. Bring your safety awareness and time management skills to thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support shop team with various maintenance duties

• Help with simple repairs as directed by mechanics

• Ensure cleanliness and order in the shop and yard

• Follow detailed safety instructions and processes

• Lift and carry heavy objects safely as required

Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined; shop experience is a plus

• Safety-conscious approach to work

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

• Effective teamwork skills necessary

• Valid Driver’s Licence is advantageous
