Journeyman Electrician Packers

In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include minimizing production downtime, performing maintenance and repairs, and conducting equipment audits. A hands-on approach combined with strong organizational skills will prove vital in this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to production calls to minimize downtime

• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical code specifications

• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical system infrastructures

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including PLCs

• Document work and contribute to preventative maintenance programs

Requirements:

• Journeyman Electrician license in Manitoba

• Experience with heating and water well systems

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work at various heights and in confined spaces

• Previous maintenance experience in the hog industry is an asset
