The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW) seeks Red Seal Powerline Technicians for immediate openings in Ontario. You will be involved in transmission line construction, maintenance, and other key projects. This role requires planning, organizing resources, and performing technical tasks necessary for project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute transmission line construction and refurbishment tasks

• Plan and schedule daily work activities for TX Programme Work

• Assemble and erect transmission towers efficiently

• Replace insulators, wood poles, and shieldwires

• Install OPGW and conduct conductor dead ending

Requirements:

• Valid G Licence with Red Seal certification required

• Previous supervisory and transmission experience preferred

• Knowledge of Hydro One safety rules is an advantage

• Physically capable of climbing towers and poles

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
