This full-time position reports to the General Foreperson and promises a minimum of 40 hours weekly, featuring a daily live-out allowance of $70. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines, alongside performing preventative maintenance on our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and service hydraulic systems and components
• Conduct welding and fabrication for equipment repairs
• Maintain accurate repair and service documentation
• Operate diagnostic tools for mechanical issue identification
Requirements:
• Journeyperson certification as Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
• Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
