Superintendent Electrical Mining Project

Join BW Gold as an Electrical Superintendent at the Blackwater Mine in British Columbia. Oversee safety, electrical equipment maintenance, and team development on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation.

Reporting to the Manager of Fixed Plant Maintenance & Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring electrical and power generation systems' reliability. Your extensive experience in mining management will be vital for enforcing safety standards and developing maintenance strategies for critical assets. Emphasizing innovation, you will manage budgets and foster a positive work culture.

• Address and enforce safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with asset management standards
• Develop life cycle plans for critical electrical assets
• Manage conflict resolution within the team
• Supervise electrical crews and subcontractors efficiently

• Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician required
• 7+ years in mining management experience
• Familiarity with CSA Standards and Canadian Electrical Code
• Understanding of Instrumentation and Process Control Systems
• Effective communication and decision-making abilities
