Fort Garry Industries seeks a skilled Heavy-Duty Truck and Transport Mechanic to support its Winnipeg branch. The ideal candidate is a registered level 3 apprentice or higher and is ready to troubleshoot electrical systems, perform CVIP inspections, and carry out various mechanical repairs. This role requires tools on hand and the ability to meet physical demands while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy and medium trucks

• Conduct CVIP inspections on trucks and trailers

• Troubleshoot and fix electrical and mechanical components

• Remove and replace brake systems and chassis parts

• Document all work accurately and thoroughly

Requirements:

• Registered level 3 apprentice or higher

• Knowledge of automotive wiring systems

• Previous welding experience preferred

• Own tools to complete assigned tasks

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
