Fleet Mechanic at Emterra Group

Emterra Group is seeking a Fleet Mechanic dedicated to safety and efficiency to join our team. Bring your expertise in vehicle repairs and diagnostics to support our essential waste and recycling services.

As a Fleet Mechanic, you will operate with limited supervision while conducting inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Key responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, utilizing vehicle electronics systems, and maintaining service records. Your work is crucial to the reliability and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and repairs on vehicles and equipment

• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and braking systems

• Conduct emergency service calls for breakdowns

• Maintain accurate repair documentation in our fleet software

• Assist with safety checks and project work as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of relevant experience

• Red Seal Diesel Mechanic certification is an asset

• Proficient mechanical knowledge and aptitude

• Valid Class 3 Driver's License preferred

• Ability to pass background checks and meet physical requirements
