Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Babcock Canada is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

You'll work with CL215/CL415 Water Bomber Aircraft, ensuring optimal performance while engaging in complex maintenance tasks.

This role involves maintaining, testing, and repairing mechanical and structural systems of aircraft. You are expected to utilize specialized tools, mentor apprentices, and uphold safety standards. Your contributions will enhance the operational reliability of defense capabilities within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair CL215/CL415 Water Bomber Aircraft

• Utilize aviation tools and diagnostic equipment

• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks regularly

• Mentor AME apprentices throughout their training

• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Valid M1 and/or M2 AME license

• Experience with CL-215/CL-415 aircraft preferred

• Proficient in Win Air or similar maintenance programs

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

• Eligible for necessary safety clearances
