Transport Trailer Mechanic

Salary range: $20.00 to $38.00 per hour (based on experience)

Ocean Trailer has been a leader in commercial trailer rentals, leasing, sales, service, and parts in Western Canada for more than 40 years.

We are looking for skilled Apprentices and Journeyman Mechanics to join our Mission team.

• Diagnosing and repairing commercial highway trailers.
• Air & ABS braking systems.
• Electrical, Axles, Wheels, and Tires.
• Trailer Chassis and frame straightening.
• Suspension, including some welding.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Replace defective parts and components to manufacturer and government specification.

• Journeyman certificate and CVI ticket are assets.
• Own tools and transportation.
• Safety conscious and dependable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding.
• Good problem solving, teamwork time, and management skills.
• Good attitude, pride in your work, and a desire to learn.
