In this full-time, on-site role, you will be integral to the operations at New Way Trucking Ltd. This position involves hands-on work in equipment and vehicle maintenance, tackling mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. You will collaborate with drivers and staff to prioritize repairs while contributing to fleet maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and diagnose heavy-duty trucks and related equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as needed
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Document all work and maintain accurate records
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Requirements:
• Trade certification as Heavy Duty Mechanic, Diesel Technician, or equivalent
• Strong experience in servicing and repairing heavy-duty trucks
• Proficient in technical documentation and schematics
• Knowledge of safety regulations for commercial vehicles
• Ability to work independently and on a team
