Position: Industrial Mechanic for Hospital Maintenance
Join Shared Health as an Industrial Mechanic, specializing in the maintenance of vital hospital infrastructure. Deliver high-standard repairs and installations to enhance patient care.

In this role, reporting to the Shop Supervisor, you will maintain and repair a variety of building and departmental equipment. With at least five years of relevant experience, you will focus on mechanical installations and emergency responses. A strong understanding of technical documents and blueprints is required for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute installation and repair of building service equipment

• Perform emergency maintenance tasks as required

• Maintain and repair mechanical installations including pumps and compressors

• Read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints

• Work alongside other trades for effective solutions

Requirements:

• Certification as a Journeyman Industrial Mechanic necessary

• Minimum five years’ maintenance experience

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

• Physical capability for lifting and working at heights

• Experience in healthcare settings preferred
