Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Join Calm Air as a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This hands-on role focuses on aircraft maintenance including inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis.
In this position, you’ll report to the Base Engineer while following directives from the on-shift Crew Chief. You will work on airframe and engine systems with responsibilities for proper documentation and safety compliance. Teamwork and independent working skills will be essential as you tackle various maintenance challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and service aircraft systems and components
• Perform sheet metal activities as necessary
• Ensure work is documented as per procedures
• Maintain clean and safe work environments
• Travel as required for on-site repairs
Requirements:
• Accredited aviation program graduation
• Current Transport Canada AME – M2 License
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 75lbs
• Must obtain Enhanced Security Clearance
• Familiarity with Inuktitut or Inuinnaqtun is an asset
