Fountain Tire is seeking a Tire Retread Technician to join our team in Winnipeg. This role involves inspecting tire casings, operating automated buffing and curing equipment, and performing final tire inspections. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a physical environment are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect tires to determine suitability for retreading
• Buff tire casings with automated equipment
• Operate manual and computer-controlled retreading tools
• Manage curing chambers and presses for retreading
• Conduct final inspections of retreaded tires
Requirements:
• Team player with dedication to tasks
• Experience in fast-paced physical roles
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
