Installation Technician at AVI-SPL

AVI-SPL seeks an Installation Technician 1 who will support varied installation tasks on contracted projects. The position requires reading schematics, using power tools for cable terminations, and collaborating with the Lead Technician. This role demands customer service skills and a basic understanding of AV systems, along with flexibility for travel to job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installations under guidance of Lead Technician

• Read and interpret electronic schematics and blueprints

• Utilize hand and power tools for AV installations

• Assist with managerial tasks concerning equipment security

• Adapt to evolving project priorities as needed

Requirements:

• Strong communication and client interaction skills

• Basic understanding of audiovisual systems

• Familiarity with low-voltage cabling troubleshooting

• Valid Driver’s License and good motor vehicle record

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
