Fire Alarm Technician

Our client, a leader in Fire Protection services across Canada, is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician in Winnipeg to perform maintenance duties, inspections, and repairs on fire alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting, and life safety systems.

• Ensure the highest standards of system reliability and client satisfaction are consistently maintained.
• Perform verifications on fire alarm systems.
• Complete work orders and reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in on‑call coverage for emergency service calls and related work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Completion of the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification is required.
• Two years of community college education in electronics is preferred. Equivalent training or relevant work experience will also be considered an asset.
• Previous training or experience with fire alarm systems is required.
• Programming experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Must be available to work afternoon and night shifts on an ongoing basis.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada, including holding any required permits.
