Truck & Trailer Technician

Canada Cartage is looking for an experienced Truck & Trailer Technician to join our maintenance team. We’re seeking a technician with 6+ years of relevant experience
. Journeyperson/Red Seal certification is an asset, but experienced unlicensed technicians may also be considered.

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot and repair truck and trailer equipment.
• Complete repairs efficiently and to industry standards.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
• Communicate equipment issues and repair recommendations to management.
• Support and provide guidance to apprentices and other technicians.
• Stay current with new technology and repair practices.

• 6+ years of relevant truck, trailer, fleet, or heavy-duty equipment experience.
• Journeyperson/Red Seal certification is an asset.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• CVIP and On-Road/Off-Road experience are assets.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experienced unlicensed technicians may be considered with 6 years of applicable experience within the last 10 years, including 10,800 hours and 70% of the trade scope.
