Diesel Mechanic Role with GFL

Become a Diesel Mechanic with GFL and ensure the operational excellence of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. This role calls for proficiency in repairs, diagnostics, and adherence to safety protocols.

In this position, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy diesel and gas-operated machines. Completing work orders, scheduling repairs, and conducting administrative tasks will form part of your daily routine. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose operational challenges in diesel equipment

• Execute maintenance on heavy diesel and gas vehicles

• Plan and procure parts with the M5 planner

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

• Provide guidance to new team members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

• At least one year diesel mechanic experience

• Diagnostic software knowledge preferred

• Willingness to learn new software

• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria
