Boart Longyear is looking for skilled individuals to fill positions as Driller Assistants. This role supports diverse operations, including drilling fluid management and equipment upkeep. You will work closely with experienced supervisors, executing day-to-day tasks necessary for site safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement safety protocols as a top priority
• Assist with handling and monitoring drilling tools
• Conduct equipment maintenance and pre-start checks
• Generate and maintain accurate drilling reports
• Provide coaching to new team members
Requirements:
• Strong physical fitness for fieldwork
• First aid certification is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery
• Effective teamwork and relationship-building skills
