Journeyman Service Technician for HVAC​/R

RAC Services is seeking a Journeyman Service Technician specializing in HVAC and refrigeration in Winnipeg, MB. This full-time position emphasizes diagnostic and repair skills along with strong communication.

Join our expanding team at RAC Services, part of the Arcticom Group, as a Service Technician from Level 3 to Journeyman. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems and conducting minor plumbing repairs. Key skills include mechanical insight, organization, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain refrigeration systems and all related components

• Conduct minor plumbing repairs for refrigeration equipment

• Inspect and assess plumbing and electrical systems

• Perform HVAC preventative maintenance and repairs

• Complete documentation for customer service calls

Requirements:

• 2-3 years experience in supermarket environments preferred

• Solid knowledge of Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC systems

• Valid driver’s license required for company vehicle use

• Preferred safety certifications include First Aid and Fall Protection

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
