Cascadia Metals is actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of warehouse worker to work out of our Winnipeg branch. This role is a permanent full-time position.

The successful applicant(s) will:

Understand and work within Cascadia's safe work procedures and safety policies

Be responsible for accurately picking materials using forklifts and cranes

Bundle and stage materials for customer orders

Safely unload incoming material using forklifts and cranes

Safely load material onto trucks and trailers using forklifts and cranes

Have a proven work history

Position requirements:

Attention to detail

Ability to lift 45 kgs (100 lbs) safely

Standing and walking for extended periods

Valid drivers license

Able to work independently or within a team environment

May be required to work overtime

Forklift experience would be an asset

Able to learn and use industrial strapping tools

Must be reliable and punctual

Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices

Flexibility; able to multi-task and work as part of a team

Ability to read orders and complete basic paperwork
