Position: Gerdau Millwright/Mechanic Role

As a Millwright at Gerdau reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipment. Key responsibilities include repairing hydraulic systems and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery. This role suits someone with a Red Seal Certification and hands-on experience in heavy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and emergency equipment repairs

• Inspect for mechanical issues and lubrication needs

• Assemble and adjust gears, bearings, and shafts

• Operate various machine tools safely

• Record maintenance work in the CMMS
Requirements:

• Red Seal Certification or Millwright Journeyman Certificate

• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry

• Strong mechanical skills and basic computer literacy

• Availability for rotating 12-hour shifts

• Effective communication skills and team orientation
