Candidates must have a Red Seal or at least 7 years of established field experience. This role emphasizes collaboration with the Site Supervisor and training apprentices, while focusing on quality control and safety on-site. Help build top-notch residential energy-efficient homes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute demolition and framing tasks expertly
• Install windows, doors, and exterior finishing
• Conduct insulation, drywall, flooring, and tile work
• Teach apprentices and mentor junior team members
• Document and report job progress through daily logs
Requirements:
• Licensed Carpenter with 7 years of practical experience
• Knowledge in framing, installation, and deconstruction
• Strong skills in reading and interpreting construction plans
• Valid driver’s license and personal tools essential
• Flexible for travel within Ottawa
