Avionics Systems Technician in RCAF

Serve as an Avionics Systems Technician with the Royal Canadian Air Force, specializing in the maintenance of aircraft electronic systems crucial for military operations. This role covers hands-on servicing and testing of avionics.

As a key member of the aircraft maintenance team, you will perform tasks related to preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of electronic systems on CAF Aircraft.

Your role may also include training new personnel while operating in varied environments across Canada and internationally. You will engage in first line servicing operations to ensure the safety and functionality of military aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and test avionics systems and components

• Set up and run test equipment efficiently

• Provide training in technical fields to team members

• Keep accurate records and statistical data for aircraft

• Assist in marshalling and basic aircraft operations

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent

• Relevant post-secondary diploma in avionics preferred

• Hands-on experience in electronic system maintenance

• Capability to work flexible hours and relocate

• Strong communication and technical skills
