As an Excavation Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll report to the Crew Supervisor and play a key role in construction operations involving excavation, back filling, and grading. This position demands a strong safety mindset and proficiency in operating heavy machinery, ideally with 3–5 years of experience. You'll work closely with ground crews, emphasizing communication and adherence to safety standards throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Rubber Tire Backhoe for excavation tasks

• Maintain situational awareness of project site conditions

• Carry out routine equipment inspections and maintenance

• Complete daily reports and logs for equipment usage

• Collaborate effectively with ground crew for project efficiency

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience with heavy equipment

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean record

• Knowledge of excavation and utility work

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
