Lead service coordination at Brandt Tractor Ltd in Winnipeg, using technician expertise and repair oversight to keep work moving efficiently on-site.
This full-time Service Foreman supports the Construction and Forestry location. The position coordinates service workload, directs technicians, reviews repair orders, and maintains quality standards. It also recommends technician skills, performance, and training needs to the Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign jobs and work orders according to technician skills
- Provide quotes and communicate throughout the repair process
- Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness
- Provide diagnostic guidance and respond to repair inquiries
- Approve equipment release after verifying completed quality work
- Three or more years as a Service Technician
- Journeyperson certification considered an asset
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate others
- Effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
- Basic understanding of service financial principles
