RESPONSIBILITIES TASKS Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts
Repair electrical appliances and components
Replace faulty components
Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances
Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults
Provide customer service
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SECURITY AND SAFETY Basic security clearance
Criminal record check
Driving record check (abstract)
TRANSPORTATION/TRAVEL INFORMATION Valid driver's licence
Vehicle supplied by employer
WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES Physically demanding
Ability to distinguish between colours
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Ability to work independently
